Connecting your apps
Bring your mail, files, calendar, chat and meetings into Louvain, privately or for the whole workspace.
Louvain answers from the apps you connect. There are two kinds of connection.
| A personal connection | A workspace connection | |
|---|---|---|
| Who adds it | You | A workspace admin |
| What it reads | Your own account | The company's account |
| Who can read what it brings in | Only you | Whoever the admin chooses (below) |
Connect one of your own accounts
- Open Connections and choose Add connection.
- Stay on the Personal tab. Use Find an app if you don't see yours.
- Choose the app, for example Google (Gmail, Calendar and Drive) or Outlook.
- Sign in to that app in the window that opens and approve.
It starts reading straight away, beginning with the past 7 days, and stays private to you. Connecting here does not give colleagues access.
Connect an app for the whole workspace (admins)
- Open Connections, choose Add connection, then the Workspace tab.
- Choose the app and follow its setup steps.
- Choose who can read what it brings in:
- Follow (app)’s own permissions (marked Recommended): each person reads exactly what they could open in that app. People need to sign in to Louvain with the same email address they use there.
- Everyone in (your company).
- Only people I choose.
- Groups in your directory.
Apps you can connect
Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar), Microsoft 365 (Outlook mail and calendar, OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams), Slack, Dropbox, Box, meeting notetakers (Fireflies, Gong, Zoom, Fathom, Granola, Otter, tl;dv), and work apps such as Notion, Confluence, Jira, Linear, GitHub, HubSpot and Salesforce. The full list is on the integrations page.
What you'll see
Each connection shows its status: Starting sync, Importing history, Up to date or Live once it is running. Reconnect needed or Finish connecting means it needs you: open its ⋯ menu and follow the prompt.
To stop a connection, open its ⋯ menu and choose Disconnect account (personal) or Remove connection (workspace). You can also choose Also delete everything it imported.
