Account and workspace settings
Your own profile and notifications, and, for admins, people, sign-in and how the workspace looks.
Your account
Select your name at the bottom of the sidebar and choose Account settings. On the Account tab you can:
- change your Display name;
- change your password, or Sign out everywhere;
- see your Linked work accounts;
- choose your Email notifications and Discussion notifications;
- turn on notifications on this device, and Send a test.
Managing the workspace (admins)
Admins see Manage workspace in the sidebar, with Louvain health, People, Access & permissions and Workspace settings.
Invite and remove people
- Open People and choose Invite people.
- Enter work emails and choose a role: Owner, Admin or Member.
- Send the invitation. Until it is accepted, it is listed under Pending invitations, where you can resend it.
To remove someone, choose Remove on their row, then Remove member. Their access to Louvain ends at once.
Roles decide who can manage the workspace, never who can read what. See Who sees what.
Workspace settings
Open Workspace settings. On the Workspace tab:
- Name and Logo — how your workspace appears.
- Web search — whether Ask may also search the web. Each search is shown with the conversation.
- Client picker — lets people focus on one client across Today, Plate, Search, Briefs and Ask.
- Library design — Standard (a list, like a drive, where each person switches between Cards and List) or Refreshed (the newer card design, one layout for everyone).
- Brand kit — see Your brand kit.
Use your own Google or Microsoft sign-in app
People connect Gmail, Drive and Calendar through Louvain’s own Google app by default. That app is limited to 100 people, and its sign-ins lapse after seven days, until Google verifies it. To lift both limits, add an app of your own:
- On the Workspace tab, find Google sign-in app (or Microsoft sign-in app) and choose Set up.
- Follow the steps shown to create the app in your Google or Microsoft admin console.
- Paste its ID and secret, and save.
Connections made before you add it keep working.
Single sign-on
The Single sign-on tab walks you through letting your team sign in with your company’s own sign-in, step by step.
